How tiers are computed
Tiers are derived from the pump roster's progression order (price/multiplier bands), then cross-checked with our efficiency scores (multiplier gained per Water spent) so that a cheap huge-jump pump outranks an expensive small-jump one. Lgnisthul (×7.5, OG-exclusive) is excluded from obtainable tiers. This mirrors the community meta — Dianeti S-tier, Rocket/Cake/Amethyst/Ice Penguin A-tier — while staying reproducible from the data.

Is there a pet or fish tier list?
Not honestly yet. 20+ fish names are now documented from gameplay footage (Leviathan, The Bloop, Orca and more) and three pets from codes — but almost none has a published multiplier or verified value, so they can't be ranked against each other yet. We'll add pet/fish tiers when comparable numbers exist.
What is the S-tier pump in +1 Drain Water Per Click?
Dianeti (×4,000,000 Water/click) is the only S-tier pump — it's the strongest in the game and the community's accepted endgame target. It costs 15B Water or 759 Robux.
How are these tiers decided?
By progression bands from the cross-verified pump table, then sanity-checked against payback value: a tier can't just be rarity — a cheap pump that multiplies your click value 3-4× is a better buy than an expensive small upgrade. Full method on our methodology page.
Which pump should a new player target first?
Work through C/D-tier in order: Lucky Clover (×12) → Sunflower (×30) → Ocean (×50) → Electric (×125). Buy whatever you can afford as soon as you can afford it — early pumps pay themselves back in minutes.
