Drain Water Per Click

Pump Efficiency Calculator — multiplier per Water spent

Raw price doesn't tell you which pump is a good deal. Efficiency divides the multiplier a pump grants by what it costs, so you can see which upgrades buy the most click power per Water — and how each stage of the game compares.

How this tool works

  1. Each pump's efficiency is (multiplier − 1) ÷ its Water price — multiplier gained per Water spent.
  2. Scores are normalized 0–100 against the most efficient pump in the current roster.
  3. Sort by any column, filter by stage, or search a pump by name.
  4. Use it with the Best Pump Finder to check what you can afford right now.

FAQ

How is the efficiency score calculated?

Efficiency = (multiplier − 1) ÷ Water price, then normalized to 0–100 against the best pump in the roster. Early pumps like Lucky Clover score highest because their price is tiny relative to the multiplier jump — which is exactly why guides say to buy them immediately.

Why do early pumps dominate the score?

The score measures multiplier gained per Water. Early pumps cost hundreds while multiplying your clicks by 10×+, so they're mathematically the best deals. Endgame pumps still win on absolute power — that's why we show the stage filter too.

What does the 'jump' column mean?

It's how many times stronger each pump is than the previous pump in progression order (e.g. ×2.5 means 2.5× the previous pump's click value). Big jumps at a low price are the best buys.
