Drain Water Per Click

How to Rebirth

Rebirth is the classic simulator trade: give up your current run for a permanent boost to every future run. Here's what sources actually document about it — and an honest warning about the numbers nobody has published.

Guide last updated:

What resets, what stays

Resets

  • Your Water level — back to zero
  • Your pumps

Keeps

  • A permanent multiplier on Water gain and Cash gain
  • The multiplier stacks across every rebirth

When should you rebirth?

Because the multiplier value isn't public, no one can compute an exact break-even. What the community does agree on:

  • Rebirth when growth stalls. If the next pump or upgrade is many hours away and nothing affordable remains, your current run is done — the permanent multiplier pays off better in the next one.
  • Don't rebirth early. "Rebirthing too early" tops the community's common-mistakes lists — you give up a run without banking enough progress to speed through the next.
  • Prepare first. Stock mutated fish in your aquarium (their income survives on the multiplier) and use the Rebirth Planner to see how far you are from the requirement shown in your game.

FAQ

What does Rebirth do in +1 Drain Water Per Click?

Rebirthing resets your Water level to zero and takes your pumps, in exchange for a permanent multiplier on Water gain and Cash that stacks across every rebirth.

How big is the rebirth multiplier?

Not published. Neither the per-rebirth multiplier, the requirement formula, nor a max rebirth count has been documented by any reliable source. Any site quoting exact numbers is guessing — we don't.

When should I rebirth?

Community guidance is consistent: rebirth when your upgrade growth visibly stalls — when the next pump is days of grinding away and nothing affordable remains. Rebirthing too early wastes progress; the permanent multiplier pays off across the whole next run.
